Templates¶
The visual template editor is a tool for the supervisor (or admin) to create and edit agent templates, which are then used to create new agents or update existing.
The editor can be found in FrontStage administration, section . You need the EditTemplate role.
The running editor displays a list of all the existing agent templates. It is also filled with a result of the data query. Its ID is in the TemplateAdminQueryId configuration parameter.
You can create a template directly in this editor by pressing Create, where you fill in the agent profile, with all the links. You don’t need to mark the profile as a template, it will be automatically available under Insert from template when creating agents. It will not appear in the list of agents displayed via the visual editor Agents.
The second option is tagging an existing agent as a template. The tagged agent will continue to be available only through this visual editor.
